Membership is open to:
General Members:
American Companies with branches, agents or representative offices in Lebanon.
Lebanese Companies with American equity.
Lebanese Companies or Individuals who have significant business relationships with the United States or are representatives of US controlled firms.
United States Citizens who are residing in Lebanon and have significant business relationships with United States or Lebanon.
Categories and fees:
Corporate Member: 1000USD one time initiation fee + 750USD yearly - Calendar year from January 1 till December 31st (to be automatically settled by members during February of every year)
Individual Member: 1000USD one time initiation fee + 500USD yearly - Calendar year from January 1 till December 31st (to be automatically settled by members during February of every year)
Should you wish to suspend the membership, you are kindly requested to inform us during the month of December to cancel the membership as of next month of the next year.
Honorary Members:
Membership in this category shall be limited to selected distinguished persons who are invited by the board of Directors to be honorary members.
His Excellency American Ambassador to Lebanon, H.E. Deputy Chief of Mission and H.E. Commercial Officer shall be Honorary members by virtue of their positions.
AmCham Lebanon is a member of The AmCham MENA Regional Council (http://www.amchammena.org/), comprised of AmCham Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, Abu Dhabi, Palestine, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria and Bahrain. The council seeks to foster increased collaboration and cooperation amongst the members in each country and to promote greater business opportunities between the United States and the Middle East North Africa region.
Any services offered by each respective AmCham for free to its members will also be offered for free to members of all AmChams in the council. Similarly, all members will receive AmCham member rates to any of the fee-based services.
In order to achieve its mission, the Council has taken the decision to effectively link the various members within each AmCham through the development of a comprehensive online, searchable database, which offers members of each AmCham access to potential business counterparts within the MENA region and allows them to exchange information on specific issues related to their industries.
The database is only accessible to AmCham members through the MENA Council website. As a member, you receive your personal username and password to access the database.
'Interact' is intended to promote and stimulate business between AmChams and their members. The program's goal is to allow you to inform other AmCham Lebanon members as well as members of the AmCham MENA council of any business offers or benefits you are willing to give them exclusively. You will also be privileged to benefit from other AmChams’ offers, making this an opportunity for AmCham members to present each other their respective products and services at favorable terms and conditions, hence increasing business between them.
All offers will be uploaded on the AmCham Lebanon website as well as the AmCham MENA council website (http://www.amchammena.org/benefits.asp ) for all other AmChams to view and benefit from. Additionally, a listing of these offers will be published in our newsletter for further exposure.
The AmCham newsletter is published every 3 months, and includes news from members, reports about AmCham activities, listings of offers and new members, as well as other interesting articles or data. Only members can publish (for free) any interesting news about their company or field, articles related to their sector, or any new data.
Members also get the chance to sponsor an upcoming issue. The sponsorship package costs 500$ and includes a half-page advertisement at the back cover of each issue (or 1000$ for a full page).
This is an exciting opportunity for you to reach out to a large audience from Lebanon, the MENA region, as well as International contacts. Our mailing list includes all MENA Amcham members and global contacts.

Non-member companies who would like to place an advertisement in the newsletter will have to make a request and wait for approval on a case by case basis. Half a page costs 750$ and a full page costs 1500$.
